WITH THE VICTORY AT THE STAGE OF BERCETO, CREWS CIANI RENEGADE RED AND CIANI RENEGADE WHITE CONQUER THE TITLE OF ITALIAN CHAMPIONS IN CATEGORIES "OFF ROAD" AND "SWAMPER". FINAL LEG 26TH AND 27TH NOVEMBER, IN GROSSETO, WITH CHALLENGE BETWEEN OVER JOY AND DOC CRAWLER FOR THE PODIUM OF "EXTREME" 2011
Berceto (Parma) - Podium absolute and Italian champions in "Off Road" and "Swamper" categories for Team
Ciani Renegade that, with the crews Paolo Ciani /Michele Vignarelli and Roberto Ciani/ Andrea Calandri, takes
home not only the stage victory of Berceto but also that of absolute Italy Warn Trophy 2011 with a round to
spare. Games still open, mathematically speaking, in the "Extreme" between Team Over Joy of Stefano Re and
Moris Pulga (94 points) and Team Doc Crawler of Francesco Nano (75 points) that will compete for the world title in the final of 26th and 27th November near Grosseto. Nineteen crews at the start of this penultimate round
of the extreme off-road championship, organized by ASD DeadDogs of Riccardo Pisani, players on the week
end of one of the strongest evidence of the motoring season 2011. Due to changes in category (Team Acern
i Tore in "Extreme") and important new entries (Team Tekno Auto 4x4 with two crews, Savona 
Fuoristrada with
a Range Rover and Scaglione on Wrangler YJ), fifth stage of Warn Trophy has
reserved more than a few
surprises. To detach the best times in the path round of Saturday 22nd October
- on a circular circuit of 5 km to
go both ways - it was Andrea Protano of Team Tekno Auto 4x4 with tubular 4x4
(76 minutes and 5 seconds) in
the category " Extreme " placed in front of Team Acerni Tore (79 minutes and 2
seconds) and Doc Crawler (87
minutes and 6 seconds). Rather more distant Over Joy (120 minutes and 58
seconds) followed the other crew
of Team Tekno Auto 4x4 (162 minutes) and Equipe Dream Team (237 minutes
and 5 seconds). Among the four
crews in "Swamper" the provisional podium of the first half of the race went to Ciani Renegade White, which
has crossed the line in 77 minutes and 17 seconds ahead of David Rippo (SRM 4x4), Juba Team and
Protozoico. In “Off Road” category to win the race on Saturday was Ciani Renegade Red, Suzuki 1.6 16 V,
completing the course in 86 minutes and 11 seconds ahead Enrico Grafas and Paolo Lopez on Wrangler TJ
4.0 (89 minutes and 40 seconds) and brothers Giuseppe and Giovanni Orzetti, ranked third on Wrangler
Rubicon (119 minutes and 50 seconds). Followed by: Girolamo Rocca (Team Spider TJ), Giovanni Baglietto
and Carlo Boristene (Team Savona Fuoristrada), Goe Secche, Team Jeepers Milano, Salvatore Grus (Savona
Fuoristrada) and Scaglione YJ. If the first round of the competition day has engaged seriously with all the
means at the start, with mud pit protagonist of aerobatic maneuvers and techniques winches made by all 19 teams, even Sunday, 23rd

has seen us focus even more selective in addressing the areas prepared by Ricky. A few months to solve the
troubles the engine and then we'll be ready to do battle in the next season of WTI”. Great time for Re/Pulga,
Team Over Joy, in the proof of the cascade have shown great skill not only stopping the clock at 13 minutes
and 8 seconds (before Acerni Tore and Andrea Protano) but also for being the only team to face the
challenging descent on rocks without using the winch. Sometimes problems instead for Equipe Dream Team –
of crew Ferdinando Bartolucci and Luca Chelini - that Saturday afternoon was not able to launch the second
round for the failure of the Defender 100 TDI rear strut then rearranged for Sunday where the pilot and
navigator showed discrete time. Victory of the day (Sunday) for Ciani White who has conquered the podium in
the category "Swamper" pulling the best times in PS 4 and 5 (respectively 5 minutes and 12 seconds and 13
minutes and 4 seconds) and showing great skill also in the challenging field of selective cascade. A fine
off-road performance for Juba Team with Wolker and Gede27 on "Calimero" that have closed on the stage of
Berceto on second step of the podium thanks to a very well-run race and the best time (23 minutes and 43
seconds) in the special of the waterfall. Applause for Team SRM 4x4 with David Rippo starring Sunday in a
double rollover to a few tens of meters from the start of PS 4, fortunately without consequences, which in no
way compromise the test allowing the crew to cross the finish line as third place as well as a second stage in
the overall standings of the 2011 season. Brawl even among the ranks of "Off Road" with Ciani Red and Ciani
Green contended that the best times of special on the razor's edge. To win, even if only slightly, was once
again Suzuki of Paolo Ciani, who snatched a sensational time (2 minutes and 54 seconds) in 4th PS on
Sunday. "Fine trials with difficult passages such as mud pit and go up on Saturday but also along the shores of
the rivers in the dry where Suzuki has disengaged well between rocks and unevenness of 100 meters!" - says
Paolo Ciani. Rounding out the podium Enrico Grafas on Wrangler TJ 4.0 (Team Ciani Green) and Team of
brothers Orzetti that, apart from a puncture, were authors of a race well-run thanks to the best time (4 minutes
and 58 seconds) in the PS 5. In evidence also Girolamo Rocca (Spider TJ), Giovanni Baglietto (always exciting
to his leadership on the steep slopes of WTI ....), Goe Secche, Team Jeepers Milano, Salvatore Grus with the
Range Rover of Savona Fuoristrada (in his first participation in WTI). With the stage victory of Berceto Ciani
Renegade Red and Ciani Renegade White confirm in command of the categories "Off Road" and "Swamper"
both with 100 points while Over Joy, with third place, has now 94 points: for this crew will be crucial the final leg
scheduled for 26th and 27th November near Grosseto, where play for the title with Doc Crawler. For
